Projekt Trade Knowledge je iz programa Evropske unije Erasmus+ financiran projekt, pri katerem partnerji stremijo k deljenju in širjenju dobrih praks in neformalnih metod učenja za krepitev vključevanja mladih na področja kulturne dediščine in pri katerem nagovarjajo vprašanja, kako lahko mladi skozi tradicijska znanja razvijajo svoje podjetniške ideje in kako lahko razvijajo znanja in kompetence, ki jih pri tem potrebujejo.

The Slovene Ethnographic Museum (department for ethnological collections from Asia, Oceania and Australia) on 2 March 2012 joined the ASEMUS project (Asia - Europe Museum network: https://culture360.asef.org/asemus-culture360/). The database was acquired by Culture360.ASEF.org, where SEM presents itself with ten masterpieces from the Asian collection SEM:

Ethnographic and World Cultures Museums as Spaces of Care is a new European project that connects thirteen ethnographic museums around Europe, including the Slovene Ethnographic Museum.

The PAGODE project, co-financed by the European Union under the CEF Connecting Europe Facility Programme, is working on the presentation and digitalization practices of the preserved Chinese cultural heritage in Europe, with a focus on its availability and access through Europeana, the European digital library.
