Weaving atelier
The weaving atelier in the Slovene Ethnographic Museum introduces visitors to manual weaving. Weaving was a typical domestic craft in the past and nearly every home had a loom. Weaving peaked in the 18th century, but later the demand for cloth started to decline because of the rapid spread of industrial fabric.
