The articles describes how the people of Loški potok lived and worked in the forties of the 19th century. It is largely based on data from the land-register of Francis I (1824), German-Slovene questionnaires (1930), crop-yield assessment (1833) and from the registers of births, marriages and deaths from 1801 to 1840.
