Cooking and its place in everyday life

The article studies foodways through the daily practice of cooking with the intention of showing the dynamics of the diverse factors that infuence the food pattern of a household. Through the practice of cooking and food pattern the article also addresses the household, in particular regarding the relationships between its members. As foodways research through practice has not been given much attention in Slovene ethnology, the article also describes the theoretical premises of such an approach.
