A Town Home

The Interior of a Peasant Home

The Interior of a Town Home

Cooking in a Range Kitchen

Preparation of krafi, a festive dish from the Trenta Valley. The housewife kneads the dough, makes a filling of apples and breadcrumbs, shapes the krafi, cooks them on the stove and pours breadcrumbs fried in butter over them.

Making Bread

The housewife kneads bread dough, the husband fires the oven, the daughter spreads the hot ashes in the oven, the housewife places the loaves in the heated bread oven with a bread board.
