Forest Litter Harvesting in 1962
Srednje, 1962. Excerpt from the film Človek iz Srednjega/L’Uomo di Stregna, directed and filmed by Paolo Rojatti in 1963, transferred from 8 mm film to digital video in the Nediža Study Centre in 2006, released on DVD as a new version of the film with the same name in co-operation with the Ivan Trinko Cultural Society and Kinoatelje.

Three locals from Srednje gather leaves, put them in a basket and take them home.

Francka Mljač from Prelože in the Karst region mows dry grass, collects leaves in special baskets and puts them on her tractor.

Dormouse Hunting

Two dormouse hunters set out two double springs traps and later collect the trapped dormice.

Villagers from Dolenje jezero present pike fishing with a basket, bag and trident. The first technique was on Lake Cerknica introduced by Russian prisoners of war after WWI.
