As part of the Silver Garden exhibition, you are kindly invited to a meeting with the artist, Lithuanian photographer Emilija Petrauskienė, who creates her work using the wetplate collodion technique on glass.

This event is a unique opportunity to learn about her work in botanical photography using the rare and captivating wetplate collodion technique. The artist will guide you through her creative journey, present this unique technical process in the context of the modern revival of analog photography, and lead a tour of the exhibition.

The exhibition features photographs of plants the artist captured in her native Lithuania and in Slovenia. It's a chance to discover the beauty and complexity of the plant world through a completely different artistic lens and to learn about the antuque wetplate collodion technique.
