Slovene Ethnographic Museum in cooperation with European Observatoy of Memories and University of Perpignan on the occasion of the international symposium European Memory in the Making invites to the opening of the exhibition by the artists
Widad Tamimi and Vesna Bukovec
I am a Refugee
on Wednesday, 26 October 2016 at 14.00
at the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, Metelkova 2, Ljubljana (administration building).
The opening will be followed by a workshop where questions, with exhibition participating artists, will be explored on the future of Europe after the refugee crisis and the role of art in education of new generations for tolerant and humanist society. The workshop will be moderated by Ksenija Vidmar Horvat.
The project A Kurdish tale between Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Greece will be presented at the exhibition as well (Illustrations: Kawakawa, Text: Widad Tamimi).
Exhibition will be on view until 11 November 2016.
