Pomembno / The picture here depicts a story from Mahabharata, in which Savitri, a lady with virtues of immense devotion and asceticism, chooses Satyavana as her husband, who is destined to die soon. She later saves his life with her values. In this picture she is seen with her in-laws, while her husband Satyavana is coming back from the forest after the day's work. Below the picture, there is folk poetry written in Bengali, which was part of the region's local tradition. It says - Sati has come to her husband's house, she is sitting and cooking next to her mother in law, who laughs and says that, now, you are married and you have become sad like us, <as a="" joke="">. On the viewer's right the poetry continues thus - with so much work on his shoulders, yet he has a smile on his face, Satyavana came at that moment, with so much affliction, as soon as he saw his lover's face, all of it went away.
