Etnolog 8 (1998) The Kosi house in the critical light of the Eastern Slovene house type
<p>The article brings a survey of the structures of peasant houses and their interrelationship with complex social and cultural factors. The main historical types of houses are: the house of the feudal age or of the common system of a three-field crop rotation with fallow land; the house of the agrarian technical revolution; the house of the industrial society. It is from this point of view that the article treats the historical significance of the two-cell dimnica erected in Mekotnjak in the south of Slovenske Gorice in the second decade of the 19"' century.</p>

<p>Placing the development of the kozolec in the framework of actual historical circumstances shows that kozolci first appeared in the 16th century, became common in the 17th century, and reached a great variety of types, their peak in design, and widest spread in the 19th century.</p>

Etnolog 16 (2006) Pričevanja o svetniških zavetništvih v Trubarjevem katekizmu iz leta 1575
<p>The slovene protestant Catechism, written by Primož Trubar and published in Tübingen in 1575, among others critically addressed the Catholic worship of saints and their patronages. The Catechism was meant for Slovene readers, but Trubar also mentions patronages, which were not common in Slovenia. The treatise explores which saints were commonly worshipped in Slovenia in the Late Middle Ages and 16th century. The evidence stems from contemporary church patrocinia, saint names which were popular as given names, surnames derived from them, sculptures and paintings, and other sources.
